Cosmetic Treatments & Skin

Cosmetic Treatments:

Cosmetic treatments and skin treatments are non-surgical cosmetic treatments that help rejuvenate and enhance the appearance of the skin. These treatments are often sought after for their ability to reduce the signs of aging, add volume, and create a more youthful and refreshed look without the need for invasive surgery.

Purpose: Used to add volume and plump up areas of the face, reducing the appearance of wrinkles, fine lines, and sagging skin.

Common Areas Treated: Commonly used in areas like the lips, cheeks, nasolabial folds, marionette lines, and under-eye hollows.

Results: Results are usually immediate and can last from several months to over a year, depending on the type used.

Platelet rich plasma (PRP) for hair/skin

Purpose: PRP is a facial rejuvenation treatment that uses your own plasma to stimulate collagen production and cell migration, helping to eliminate fine lines and wrinkles. PRP skin and hair treatment can make a dramatic difference.

Common Areas Treated: PRP is carefully injected beneath the surface, stimulating collagen and elastin production which firming and tightening thinning skin, effectively smoothing wrinkles and fine lines. It is also injected into the scalp where hair loss or thinning occurs.

Results: In the clinical trials that are currently available, patients were seen 3-4 weeks after their first treatment session with some improvement noted. However, not everyone responds at the same rate and it can take multiple treatments before seeing significant changes.

Biofiller

Purpose: The patient's own Platelet-poor Plasma (PPP) precisely cooled and heated, that becomes 'activated' and converted from liquid to albumin gel. This Biofiller can then be used as an autologous (recipient=donor) volume repair biomaterial created from blood components.

Common Areas Treated: Face, such as cheeks, restore volume, tear troughs, jaw, preauricular area, marionettes, nasolabial folds, and hip dips.

Results: Results become noticeable instantly after volume up to 12mls of fluid is injected; swelling subsides after a few days can last for 3 to 6 months, after which re-treatment is necessary once yearly to maintain the effect.

Submental fat treatments

Purpose: Remove fat under the chin without surgery, resulting in a more sculpted neck profile and jawline.

Common Areas: Submental fat

Results: Results become noticeable within 4-6 weeks. You can do up to 6 treatments.

SKIN TREATMENTS

Dermapen skin needling

Purpose: Skin needling is a cosmetic procedure that involves creating small wounds on the skin to stimulate collagen and elastin production.

Ingredients: Hyaluronic acid gel and niacinamide may be used during the treatment to help hydrate the skin and minimize fine lines.

Common Areas Treated: The face is most commonly treated with skin needling but other areas of the body including hands, neck, back and chest can also be treated.

Results: The process starts immediately after your visit, though, with visible skin tightening. Consider that more extensive issues – like scarring, deeper lines and wrinkles and hyperpigmentation – are likely to take multiple treatments before you get visible results. Expect optimal results after about 4-6 weeks.

LED light therapy

Purpose: Proven to stimulate the production of more collagen, so as to inhibit the aging process and increase elasticity. LED red light therapy benefits acne sufferers by killing acne-causing bacteria at the source, deep beneath the skin’s surface. Blue LED light therapy emits specific, clinically proven wavelengths of light to trigger an all-natural effect in human tissue and kill the acne-causing bacteria. Celluma's professional devices emit blue and red simultaneously which is a benefit over devices which emit only blue light. While blue light is busy killing the acne-causing bacteria, red LED light helps decrease the inflammation associated with the acne lesions and improve skin tone, texture, and clarity from the inside out.

Ingredients: LED light.

Common areas treated: Common areas of treatment are in the face; however, it is also FDA-cleared treatment of acne and age-related challenges including wrinkles, arthritic pain, muscle and joint pain, muscle spasm, and poor blood circulation.

Results: After just one 30-minute Celluma treatment, two times a week for four weeks, you can see the huge improvement in skin tone, texture, and the reduction of the redness, fine lines, and wrinkles. Best results, however, are conducted over 3-6 months.
